According to the PW website, no lactose. i would suspect the special b, oats and midnight wheat give the abductions the thick, creamy mouthfeel that might be confused with a milk stout.

    Did you graduate from Sandburg?

I saw some at the Evergreen Park binny's last week. The binny's in OP has a horrible beer selection compared to other binny's and places, in general.

No I did not. Also, I know that Orland is garbage which is why I normally go to Bollingbrook Binny's instead.

    April 18, 2014 Update

All of this good stuff will be released today, 4/21.

IMPORTANT: Barrel Aged Jones Dog will be held for 1 WEEK only for Friends with Benefits pick-up.

    NEW! Wolpertinger

Cryptozoologists agree, Wolpertinger is a terrific brew. Just like the magical hybrid on the label, this IIPA is something of a hybrid. We've taken a Belgian yeast strain, and combined it with soft and juicy German Hops, Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Blanc, and Hull Melon. The result is a spicy, grassy, IIPA with melon notes; the stuff of myths and legends. $10.99, 22 oz, 9% ABV

    NEW! Bunny and the Bird
This delightful Imperial English IPA is brewed using a crisp and clean English yeast, a English base of biscuity Maris Otter grain, as well as traditional East Kent Goldings hops, and untraditional Nelson Sauvin hops. The result is a clean, malty brew with slight carmelization and subtle vinous character. Cheerio!! $9.99, 22 oz, 8.5% ABV

    Elijah's Revival
Our favorite revivalist is experiencing a, well, a revival! We're doing a small release of this wheat wine with orange and spices. "Ladies and gentlemen, step right up and take a pull of this desirable imbibable wonder! Now, I'm not hawking a ballyhoo for any old flukum. No, this prestidgitational flavor rambunction is brewed in inspired conjunction with Niche restaurant. Wegotcher orange, we gotcher spices, wegotcher all things nices. THis ale is the best on either side of the river or my name's not Elijah (which it is) and this is not my revival (which it is)."
    $9.99, 22oz, 10% ABV

    Barrel Aged Jones Dog
We've opened up the bourbon barrels where our rich, chocolatey Imperial Milk Stout has been aging, leeching oak and delicious bourbon flavor from the wood. Wow. This might be our best barrel age release to date. It is just, wow. I mean we're excited.
    $8.49, 12 oz, 11% ABV

    On the Brewing Horizon:

NEW! Zommelier - Oak Smoked Wheat Wine with Toasted Black Cardamom and Lemon Peel
Toasty Nut Abduction - Abduction with Coconut and Almond
Pipeworks Ninja Vs Unicorn - Hoppy Double IPA

If you make your way a bit north, I have seen the CBA at Prestige & Mainstreet in Countryside and I have also seen it at Archer liquors...all within the last week.
