Good morning and day and evening to all!

Nothing better than a bourbon barrel stout to get the antemeridian on...

Seemed like you were drinking this everyday for the last 2 weeks! You are quite the houdini. I do love central waters BA offerings.

What's the deal with Peruvian Morning? Figured it'll make its way around now that we get distro here, but the site lists the past three years worth (including the 2014) as being recalled due to infection! What gives?!

CW has a blog post on their website that basically says they are evaluating whether they will continue to produce PM. It's a shame because when it is on, PM is a world class beer. I have been drinking a case of it for the last several years, and I only ran into one infected 4 pack. There's a step in the process that is resulting in infection but I don't know what it is. Surely some cheesehead can enlighten us. CW is up there as one of the things i miss most about chicago:slight_frown: Keep your eyes peeled for their Illumination DIPA (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/652/58806/), should be hitting the shelves soon i would think.

Buy it if you can find it. Well worth the $7 it cost for a bomber.

Bastille is too good to be known as "that Pompeii band."

    I'm posting again...

...been sipping on Space Cake for a little while now, and I've come to the conclusion that the BeerAdvocate community is delusional! Only a 91 rating for Space Cake? This thing stands up to the "big boys"! A bit on the sweet side, but holy hell, this is an easy Top 20 beer for me. I'm not sure I've had a DIPA with such a perfect malt profile.

    Alright, I'm shutting up now.

    Cheers, people of BA!
