I haven't seen any recent threads about how hard it is to get ZD, so I'm wondering if bottles are available at all times now at the pub?

Usually 2-3 times a month they come out with it, toward the end of the week. Comes out Wed-Thur and is usually sold out by the end of the day Friday. If you can make it there on Thursday, you usually walk out with a couple cases. Always check their availability on the website though.

    I think so.

We've gotten a single case, probably 4 times in the last 4-5 months....all the way out here. Even though we got not a single bottle of kbs or parabola in the entire county haha .. .. the case sits behind the counter and lasts probably a day and a half to 2 days. I tried a couple bottles out of a case around the beginning of the year, it had to of been the fact that it was in direct sunlight and un-refrigerated, because that was the worst ZD i have ever tasted. Needless to say, I now will see it behind the counter and I have zero desire to purchase said skunked ZD.

Though if anyone is ISO sunstruck and unrefrigerated ZD, let me know, I got the hook up!

They still have to put up NO ZOMBIE DUST signs at the pub when it's out. Nuff said.

unrefrigerated isnt really an issue and I doubt the skunk effect sets in from a couple days in winter/spring sunlight for 5 hours a day (assuming its getting afternoon sun or morning sun based on store window placement), that is unless FFF is now utilizing clear or green bottles.

No. Until it's lasts more than an hour on the shelves of any beer store that posts arrivals on twitter, it has not met demand. Demand is outrageous though, and the beer is not head and shoulders above other hoppy ales like it used time. I'm just as happy to drink anti hero, daisy cutter, and the likes as I am drinking a zombie dust.

It's never going to meet demand. Because at the first inkling of possibly meeting the demand, FFF has pretty much the rest of the entire country to expand their distribution to.

Can I find regular Three Floyds beer in Madison, WI? Yes
Can I find Zombie Dust in Madison, WI? Nope, not even close.
When it makes a limited appearance it is a 2 bottle limit and gone in less than a half day.

Just drink it from the bottle, it'll be fine.

Maybe people are just learning the availability of it and feeling less need to bash the brewery for not being able to make enough? Are we becoming a smarter BA group as time goes on? Could it be?

It's much harder to get now than it was a year ago. Before it was available 75% of the time at the brewpub. Now a good chunk of it goes into distribution. In the western suburbs most places that get FFF get a case a few times a month. And it is gone in minutes, literally the first 4 people in the store buy a 6 pack. Over the last 5 months I have gotten my hands on more proprietors than zombie dust.

I've seen the exact opposite... I see Zombie Dust all the time, but since I don't care for IPAs, I never buy it. But I have never seen proprietors for sale...

If supply and demand level off, i wonder if zd will start receiving fewer 5's.

i think it has more to do with the fact that the ZD circle jerk is finally dying down, just like it did for Pliny and soon to be Heady Topper. people are sheep. when the next cool thing is around they will flock to that. ZD is crazy good but only bc its labeled as a pale ale. if were an IPA as it prob should be...it would be mehhhh its ok. all marketing.
