Yea, I just turned the notifications on for a couple places. They should all just turn to Twitter.

Take this with your proverbial dose of NaCl but it does not look good for availability of these FW item in VA for the near future.

So one store (Dominion) in all of Northern Virginia got it? That makes no sense.

I would agree -- if a store in Falls Church got Parabola, it's hard to believe that no one else in NoVA would see any. I would think it more likely that this means the next week or two would see it pop up in the area more widely.

[I am almost positive] he has another location in MD. Feel free to make your own assumptions.

Are you saying the could have received it at this Maryland store and sold it at the VA store? Because according to their FAcebook post from 4/11, they had Parabola at the VA store.

Where is their Maryland store located?

I didn't say that. You said that.

Any updates on when/if Parabola will hit shelves in DC? My beer guy keeps saying "next week," and I'm always checking the usual places in DC. I was able to pick up a couple of bottles of XVII back when it was out, but no luck on Parabola so far.

Ah, thanks. I'm guessing all 12 will be sold by time I get off work and get over there.

And yet somehow the beer that was released several weeks prior still hasn't arrived in MD, DC, or VA. I'm telling you, there's a man in a ditch somewhere in an overturned truck with cases and cases of Sucaba.

Yeah saw rodmans got it yesterday...When I asked the total wine guys they said it would be early june when they get theirs so I guess they're not releasing it all at once? Weird.

What's everyone paying for the latest batch of Parabola? Foggy Bottom WF had it for $15 today.

That moment you get excited to see a new post in your Sucaba thread just to see another Parabola post.

I had an email conversation with someone at Firestone Walker today about Sucaba. Whoever it was said they would forward my email to the regional sales manager and try to get to the bottom of the missing Sucaba. Will post response here if I get one. Unless this is a Parabola thread. Then I'll post it somewhere else.

Here's the email response I got today regarding Sucaba in MD,DC,VA

"I contacted the sales rep for that area and he said that Sucaba did indeed make it out there, however it was unfortunately such a small allocation that most stores only got 6 bottles. My honest guess is store owners either kept bottles for themselves or just sold it to some VIP customers, with little to no advertising. I understand your frustration as this does not seem fair, but that beer is very limited for us and we’re still just a lil’ ol brewery in California trying to keep up with demand."
    Thank You,
    Jemma Wilson

Thank you, Jemma. But I'm having a hard time believing your sales rep for our area.

Yeah, if that were the case, i'm sure Barmy/1 West Dupont would still have a couple bottles on the shelves for $30+

A guy at Rodman's said they were getting Sucaba this week (no more details than that).

Also, Parabola spotted at WF Glover Park today.
