New Teku

 

Just added 2014 KBS glass.

 

Got early enough to grab one

 

There has been some buzz about this beer. And it is quite good. BVDL good, no? Vanilla Eclipse good, maybe?


I do know that it was good enough to merit a better glass:

 

Prairie 11oz mini "Teku"

 

I don't work with spreadsheets, so I am a bit clueless on how to add to it, but if anyone cares to instruct me, or add this shot, please do. Not sure of the correct name of the glassware. The bottle is 500 m/l, and I think that is the same for the glass.

What year is that bottle and glass from?

 

The best answer I can give is that they both date from pre-2008. I'm pretty sure the bottle is a 2007.

 

Better question is how did the 6+ year old bottle of yeti taste?

 

Very good! Full of bitter sweet chocolate and dark roasted coffee, there was only the slightest hint of oxidation. The mouth feel had thinned a bit, but nothing detracted from the beer.
