    Left unsupervised and unoccupied (I'm on vacation and my wife's off to help her sister with her newborn baby (baby girl, 7lbs, 15oz, 4/14/14)), I have decided to write you all a story.
    And no, I am not drunk.

    Yuzu Pale
    A Tale of Idle Hands

    When Femme Fatale Yuzu Pale came around last September, I had a crush on her immediately.
    She was tart and funky - and a little fruity - but with a dry edge.

    She stuck around for a while, and while she did, I spent as much time with her as I could. Then I started to see less and less of her - at times thinking she was gone for good - but then she'd show up again!

    But then, one day, after months without seeing her, it dawned on me...

    She was gone...

    This was our first picture together, September 3rd, 2013.

    This shot was taken January 3rd, 2014.

    It was the last time I ever saw her.

    I had just about forgotten about her until I ran into her again!
    I couldn't believe it!
    She was hanging out with some friends of mine.

    But, I guess I lost sight of how much time had passed - see, she wasn't built for the long haul...

    She'd become a little darker, dulled by time, but also become mellower, perhaps more refined...
