I'll go for Zoigl - some of the best bottom-feremnted beer I'vs had and always under 2 euros for a half litre. Where do you get better value than that? Add the atmosphere - a bunch of neighbours in someone's back yard - and you've unbeatable value for money. And no TV in sight.

I'm wracking my brain for anything legitimately underpriced in NYC, but nothing is coming to mind. When you find fairly priced beer here you're having a good day. I suppose the last time I felt I was truly underpaying for beer was the Czech Republic in 2000. I paid very little for beer in Vietnam last year, but the low cost was fair. Very fair.

Old Raspy is 9.99 a four pack here. Also Stone RIS at 6.99 a bomber is pretty fantastic as well.

PA isn't much better. Stupid liquor laws...

Deschutes standard line (Obsidian, Black Butte, Mirror Pond, etc.) can pretty easily be found for $6.99/sixer around here. Hard to argue with that.

I'm gonna be that guy, I apologize, but Old Raspy is $7.49/pack here, and Stone IRS is $5.99:slight_smile: You're right, though -- great brews to include on the list.

Man, at 7.49 a four pack thats a fantastic price. I would probably have that stocked in the fridge/cellar at all times.

I found a store thet sells fbs for 8.29 per four pack, its 13.99 everywhere else so I guess it isn't consistently underpriced but that is a smoking deal.

Wait until you get back here and shell out the same price for a single 22 oz. bottle of "craft" Maerzen. Both may be failures, but at least Oettinger tries to brew the style it puts on the label...and doesn't fleece the shit out of you.

I can't think of any beers that are underpriced, but Lagunitas is always reasonable in an unreasonably priced world. New Glarus for 6.99 is a pretty fine thing too (especially when the Dancing man is around).

Depending on how vigorously you do your accounting, homebrew can appear pretty cheap.

Otherwise, Sierra Nevada seems like the answer. Smuttynose and Uinta are a little on the cheaper side around here too.

Anyone who has listed a bomber is deeply confused. Cheap for a bomber =\= cheap.

Beers in bars that have half price happy hours. There is usually at least a Stone IPA, Coronado Islander IPA, Ballast Point Yellowtail, Karl Strauss Red Trolley or other fresh local product on tap for $8-9 a pitcher. And a pitcher cause I drinks a bit.....

I am a fan of the Pizza Port Ponto Session IPA, and Chronic Ale, 9.99 for a six pack of pint cans is a pretty good deal and they are both very tasty.
