Join us in celebrating the release of our newest collaboration beers, Rue d' Floyd and Floyd d' Rue! We brewed an imperial porter and split the batch in two. One half aged in Bourbon Barrels with cherries, coffee and vanilla. The other went into Rum Barrels with a medley of spices typically used in a making spiced rum. We'd love for you to join us in tasting these as well as Melange #8, Oude Tart with Cherries, Sucré and some extremely special surprises at Out of the Park Pizza in Anaheim on April 27!

Where: Out of the Park Pizza
    When: April 27 - 10am-2pm
What's Included: 16 tasters, Society logo'd tasting glass and Pizza
Cost: $49.99 (your member discount is already included)
    RS Limit: 1
    HS Limit: 1

Beers will be served in 2.5 or 5 oz servings depending on the abv% and/or the size of the keg.

Any word on the DD driver ticket for this event at OOTP?

Ugh.... I really wanted to do this 3 Floyds thing but c'mon... Sucre, Melange 8, Oude Tart with Cherries, for $50/16 taste @ 1 total per Reserve/Hoarder member.... Probably is only worth it if their "extremely special" beer is 3 floyds dark lord...

Guess I am just gonna hold off... a little over a week later is the Sucreversary as well

From the Bruery: "Due to limited space at the venue we do not have DD tickets available. Also due to the limited availability of this event we are only allowing one ticket per member and not allowing for tickets to be bought for others. Sorry for the inconvenience!"

So hold on which beers are on tap at 3 floyds Bruery event?

Maybe I am missing something here but all I see is Oude Tart with Cherries, Sucre, Floyd d'Rue, Rue'dFloyd, what are the "extremely special beers" you posted? If someone is paying that much for a ticket why not tell us the full details? Will it just be Dark Lord (not even confirmed even)?

I think most people will be paying the money just to support such a friendly local establishment with an excellent record of treating their customers with the utmost respect and almost family like customer service, while regularly over pouring rare beers just to put a smile on customers faces....... or I could have it completely backwards.

Skipping that OOTP event. I wasn't sure if I want to go in the first place, but right now, with 1 ticket and no DD even and with mediocre beer selection it just helped me save a fifty for some good beer. I wouldn't be surprised if 20-30 people would show up....

I wish nobody would show up and The Bruery would start bringing kegs like that to the anniversary party, or provide more details when charging $50 for an event so close to the anniversary. Based on the information provided, why would I care to go to an event with the same beer I'll get at the anniversary? Oh, it's an event with Three Floyds? Well sure would be nice to know SOMETHING that they will be bringing. Also not hold an event somewhere like OOTP where you can't sell DD tickets or more than 1 ticket - and have overall poor business practices. But people who don't trade or go to better events will buy these tickets and Bruery will deem it a success.

Regarding the event, I am also on the fence. Most of the Bruery beers announced are beers that I've been able to try, or will be able to soon. The only reason for maybe paying that much money is for 3 Floyd's beers, and even then how many 3F beers are on offer would make a big difference. It'd be nice to have some indication of that.

Basically since most of the beers that will be on tap at the party we will get to try currently or at some point, the $50 is mainly for the pizza buffet, and whatever "extremely special but we can't tell you" beers that will serve.

Maybe the special beers aren't being released because sales might be really low after disclosing which beers will be there

How can sales get any lower at this point? It seems like everyone who was interested is just waiting for the anniversary party as that seems to be the only beers listed and they're shared for events.

1 ticket limit and no DD is also seriously hurting the chances that most would want to go.

You got to be kidding me. Guess it's a no go for me now

    "Hi,

Before buying my ticket for the 3 Floyds Event, I would like to know if it is confirmed that 3 Floyd Dark Lord will be on tap for the event?

    Hi Nick!,

I'm so sorry, it will not be on tap for the event. However, there will be other offerings that I'm sure you will definitely enjoy!

    Regards

Why did you expect Dark Lord on tap and why would you even want it? It's hilarious to me that the lack of Dark Lord on tap was the deal breaker for you.

No dark lord and they still want $50? Not that I was going anyways but I'm that much more glad I'm not.

    Looking forward to Sucreversary.

Seeing as how we can get the beers they mentioned in the email pretty much often at the Bruery Tasting Room, I was expecting something just a bit more at the event that we can't usually get for that $50 price. Everyone's taste are different, some like it, some don't, I really don't know what your issue is.
