Good Mosaic IPAs?

    While not an IPA per se, Southern Tier 2XOne really showcases Mosaic hops. Victory's Hop Ranch is an IIPA but also showcases Mosaic hops (along with Azacca).

    I'm a bit on the fence about Mosaic hops and I am finding that I need to be in the mood for them.

    I didn't know it was down there. I am surprised. Solid everyday beer. I get bombers up here for 5 bucks I love it.

    Annica was wonderful by FFF and Half Acre but not available anymore. So I would go with Supernaut from NEBCO. FANTASTIC!!

    Blue Point Mosaic is a delicious session IPA brewed with all Mosaic. Been drinking that stuff like crazy lately.

    Clown Shoes Space Cake, while not brewed solely with Mosaic hops, has a good dose and is a very good DIPA.

    Victory DirtWolf - the most recognizable hops in it are Citra and Mosaic (IMO).
    Victory HopRanch - heavy on Mosaic (but the Pilsner malts make it quite a different beast).
    Long Trail Limbo - although it's a lot more citrusy than other Mosaic IPAs.
    Southern Tier 2XOne (until they swap to a new single-hop recipe).

    Those are the examples that come to mind. Obviously, a little Northeast biased there. :wink:

    Hop Ranch, Hop Ranch, Hop Ranch. Too bad it's "seasonal".

    I don't know how far Hangar 24's beers make it, but Betty IPA is a good beer, especially for $10/six pack ... brewed with citra, simcoe, and mosaic.

    It's been said, but DirtWolf is really all you need..Deschutes Fresh Squeezed also features mosaic (and citra) well. Love me some mosaic and citra

    Chill Wave is starting to turn into barleywine. Still tastes really good but not nearly as fresh anymore.

    I second that motion! Quote me as well. Had Apex in my kegerator and now have a sixtel of Churchill and it's not a contest. Apex was great. Churchill is even better. Beautiful display of mosaic.

    Crux Fermentation Project does a nice mosaic hop DIPA called Half Hitch. Great drinkability for a double IPA, with some awesome hop flavors goin' on.
