zekeman17 & bruindre already mentioned Treehouse Brewery - But it looks like you'll be about an hour from there, and depending whats On Tap that weekend (http://treehousebrew.com/on-tap/), I'd say it's definitely worth the trip. I love me some Jacks Abby lagers, NightShift sours, or Trillium saisons (all closer to Boston), but Treehouse is arguably doing the best beers in the State.

Monson MA is more than an hour for all of us in the Boston area, but I still try to make the trek out whenever I can. Even with the bumblefuck location, the lines can still be down the road a ways if "Julius" or another limited/collaboration beer is available for growlers. Not much of a scene for hanging-out necessarily, and not a huge space/property at the new location (although there is a great BBQ joint that is BYOB up the road a ways)... Just real solid beers/tits/people.
