Fat Heads in Denver

    Head Hunter IPA is on tap at WOB Cherry creek if anyone's interested. Not sure if this is leftovers from CBC week or not, but it's a damn good IPA. Cheers guys.

    They put it on tap for their 4/20 hop head event. I got there in the late afternoon and there was maybe 10 people in the whole place. I guess people had other plans on 4/20.

    Yeah I enjoyed a couple pints at Freshcraft yesterday, one of my favorite IPA's. Would love to see it locally on a regular basis.

    Get the love but this one was probably my least favorite of the trio of Ohio IPA's I got gifted to me from a friend in Ohio (the other two were Brew Kettle's White Rajah and Columbus's Columbus IPA).

    Our bottleshare group had a midwest tasteoff and the results were:

    1. White Rajah
    2. Headhunter
    3. Half Acre Heyoka
    4. Zombie Dust
    5. Alpha King
    6. Columbus IPA

    Love Head Hunter. Also like it a lot more than White Rajah. I've had Rajah a few times now and it has yet to impress me.. Would love to see HH distributed here..

    According to WOB's website it's left the building. Freshcraft too. Worth a call? I wonder if anymore kegs are floating around town that we don't know about.

    According to Renegade's Publik House FB Page, they got Fat Head's Head Hunter. And a Lagunitas one-off I've never heard of. Fat Head's was a definite highlight at GABF for me this past summer, especially if you're a hop head.

    I was at Renegade's Publik House this past weekend and it was on, and I was at Falling Rock on Tuesday night and they had just tapped a keg of it. Falling Rock also had tapped a keg of FW Lil' Opal which I enjoyed.
