Avery Sour Ale Fest 2014

    Well, I almost broke the F5 button on my keyboard but tickets acquired.

    What are you guys hoping to see there?

    Since I can't make it to the brewery this weekend, I'm gonna say Rufus Corvus. I'll also say Opuntia because I thought it was rad. Definitely wanna try more tequila barrel stuff.

    I went to the inaugural SourFest and really enjoyed the Russian River sours - hope they bring in more of those. I second the nod for Rufus Corvus. Hoping for more sour from Three Barrels. And generally just want to taste some sours from some breweries I've not had before. Love to be surprised.

    Now the most important question - is Rackhouse running their bus to/from SourFest?

    Rackhouse is shut down for 6 months so my guess would be no. It's possible they will run one but there is no restaurant to run one from currently.

    I'd love to see a showcase from Casey Brewing and Blending. We can all dream, can't we?

    Casey Brewing & Blending was bottling batch 1 on Friday. 1 week isn't enough time for bottling conditioning but maybe he's got a trick up his sleeve and makes an appearance. Hopefully anyways...

    Anyone hear any buzz on who may be there?

    Does anyone remember where the list was posted last year? I think it was on the Thursday before as mentioned above, but didnt know if it was on their website or some other site. I just remember seeing it posted here.

    Also, Jolly Pumpkin said they'll be there. Hopefully they're bringing Calabaza Boreal, haven't gotten a chase to try that yet.
