We still have a pretty solid stock of it, but I don't expect it to be around for longer than a week. Hope that helps.

It's been at several different Binny's. They got their shipments a couple weeks ago, but I've seen it still on shelves.I would call ahead if you don't want to waste time.

This has got to be the only barrel aged beer still packaged in twist-off caps.

Like totally not expecting it....but after the 2nd cap essentially fell off when I took my opener to it, I could not help but notice.

The two west suburban Binny's I bought it at (DG and Willowbrook) was limiting it to 2 bottles per customer. I know Archer received some during two consecutive weeks, so maybe more will continue to flow in to the area.

Snagged a four pack and popped one the other day. FANTASTIC stuff. I couldn't believe the mouthfeel it had for something "only" 8% - in that regard it reminded me a lot of some of the better options I've had served up on a nitro tap.

Doubly Down and Even Dirtier was a bit thin, but thats whats amazing about Tyranena is they can pack all this flavor into a beer that is insanely drinkable. I don't see how you could complain that its a bit thin, if anything its unique for the style, since thin beers tend to lack flavor, but the guy nails it every time with the reserve series. Ray's here I come!

I think too many people are stuck in some mindset that a proper bb stout has to be thick and rich like Bourbon County. I've seen Central Waters get mocked for this same thing. I also personally like the body being on the thinner side. I don't think I could drink more than one bottle of BCBS at a time since it's so damn rich. I could drink a ton of DoaB or CW BB stout. It drinks so damn easy and the flavor is spot on.

Totally agree, there are times when I feel like having a stout with the thickness of motor oil, but more often than not I prefer a lighter, thinner, lower ABV stout or porter. That's one of the reasons I don't get the complaints that CW BBS is too thin, I'm actually glad it's thinner than is normal for the style, I get all the bourbon barrel stout flavor without the heavy booze of BCBS for example.

Devil Over A Barrel isn't over the top in any it's flavors, and I think that's one of the reasons I'm really enjoying it.

EDIT: Lol @AstraXtreme beat me to it, were thinking the same thing.

Haha, yeah I think there was some sort of tear in the space-time continuum going on on that one....might need to fashion myself a tinfoil hat to prevent further mind-hacking....

i agree with you guys 100%.
Perfect balance of all aspects to make it something
You can enjoy thorougly across a myriad of moods.
I am not a fan of bourbon for the most part, but i love this.
On draft at the brewery, or in bottle form. Delicious.
