So I heading to Denver in 2 weeks for work. Technically I will be in Lakewood. Non the less, I want to visit some bottle shops to pick up some stuff to take back to Kentucky. I like BA stouts and sours. I am aiming for breweries that do not distribute to KY - and/or - top 250s.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not from the area and I'm sure there are better shops to check out, but during my visit to Denver my buddy and I stopped into Mr. B's. I read mixed reviews about it but was honestly very impressed by their selection, and the employees there seemed quite helpful as well. Wish we had more time to explore, but that was the only stop we could make before heading to the airport.

Grapevine and Small Batch. Both of a great selection and a great staff.

Definitely check out Mr. B's in downtown Denver near Coors Field. They have a great selection of sours and barrel-aged beers.
