I've seen another GoTo thread but it was much broader, here I'm curious what folks view as their GoTo quality stout that is easily available and easy to get. I'm trying to pick mine, got a few on hand now going through them to crown as my goto stout.

So far I've had these recently:
    Founders - Imperial Stout
    Left Coast - Voo Doo
Brooklyn Brewery - Black Chocolate Stout

I've had these in the past but going through them again to re-assess:
    Mission - Dark Seas
    New Holland - Dragon's Milk
    Weyerbacher - Heresy

I realize Heresy is considered seasonal but it sits on the shelves where I am almost year around. But the hard to get (BCBS, Parabola, Gingerbread Stout, etc.) don't count since, well, they're hard to get.

Ten Fidy, but it starts to get a little pricey having this as my go to.

Old Raspy all the way. For the price and taste, and year round availability its one of the best.

Lately I've been drinking a lot of Sierra Nevada Stout. It's an easy drinker with a fairly modest abv, which makes it nicely all-weather.

I was expecting this thread to be about Stone brewing a session stout. I am both relieved, and disappointed.

Allagash black has been my go to stout - smells great and tastes brilliant -

I wish we had expedition stout out here I love that one - (one bottle left)

Dry stout : North coast old number 38 (coffee bomb!)

Last but not least big bad baptist - it's easy to find and I always grab a bottle before going to my friend joes place - he's a cigar dude

Recently I've been wanting to pick up all the "old label" double stout by green flash cause I know it will hold up in a dark closet for another bit - Oh yea stop bashing the new labels! They're alright!
