    I have to say in my opinion pipeworks has put out a list of ipas that top half acre. While I love double daisy cutter and I did wait in line for galactic and know I will enjoy it, odds of it topping unicorn galaxy are long. Like I said, just my opinion, but half acre isn't quite at the same level as pipeworks.

    Was there about 30 mins ago and I'd say there were 25-35 cases on the floor and then cooler had about 3-4 rows I think

    Galactic Double Daisy Cutter just sold out. Some cases went out for distribution, but not a lot. A second batch (draft only) will be released in about two weeks.

    After they made those announcements I was surprised to see everyone still buying their allotment of four with so many people still in line. So much for beer advocacy.

    My boss was a little more laid back than I expected. We went over to three Floyds instead and I got four cases of zombie dust instead!

    I'm a bit confused by your statement. Obviously I wasn't there, but are you insinuating that people who likely waited around for 1+ hours should have gauged how many people were on line after them and NOT purchased the amount that was allowed by the brewery? Or am I missing some sarcasm here on your part?

    So saying GDDC is better than any Pipeworks beer is "hate"? Just because you live in Chicago doesn't mean you have to love every Chicago brewery.

    Thank you both. This "hater gonna hate" trend is the dumbest shit ever and has got to end.

    Criticism is perfectly normal and healthy.

    (Disclaimer: This is to say nothing of Half Acre or Pipeworks and their beers.)

    I raced there right after work and was luckily to be one of the last 20 or so people to get some. Wait time was about 30 mins.

    I saw bottles and cans were selling some starting at 11am today. Guessing those are already gone.

    So, I'm to stand in line and just buy 1 bottle?!?? HA already pared it down from 6. I'm glad for everybody who got the chance to aquire some. There's always a next time. And a multitude of many other buying options, as far as I'm concerned. Gonna pop a Road Warrior now.
