    Whats up everyone?

I'm sure you guys get tired of all the " Hey I'm visiting Denver" threads that you get, but a buddy and I are driving up and will be there from Monday - Thursday (May 5th-9th). I've done a bit of research on here on places to check out, but I'd really like to know yall's favorite spot to get a beer, and your go-to bottle shops.

Additionally, we will be bringing a ton of Austin beer with us, mostly Jester King stuff, to trade and share with you beautiful people. If there's anything particular you want, hit me up and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Finally, we just wanna share some good times. If there are any bottles shares goin on, any live music spots to hit up, or if you just wanna meet up for a beer, please BM me.

    Thanks all!

Looks like we may be hitting up Fort Collins and Boulder as well. Thanks.

Well in that case, hit up Backcountry Pizza and Avery in Boulder. And then go to Oskar Blues in Longmont. And THEN go to Odell, New Belgium, Funkwerks and Equinox in Ft. Collins.

Might be fun to meet at CS for Tap-It Tuesday 5/6 at 6PM...even if they don't do a special tapping (but especially if they do). I'm always game for that.

I LOVE me some Jester King.

Ha, no worries. Enjoy your trip! I'm sure we'll bump into each other at some point. Beer people are cool.

Do a search of this forum - tons of information on exactly the questions you are asking.

I started a thread about two months ago on day-tripping to Fort Collins. Check out my history to find it. In short, I wouldn't miss the New Belgium tour, O'Dells (if you have time), Grimm Brothers, and Verboten.

My favorite places in no particular order: Avery (in Boulder), Dry Dock, Wit's End, Crooked Stave, Station 26, Black Shirt, Great Divide, Hops n Pie, and Strange.

A good strategy might be to look at the World Beer Cup winners and visit those breweries. There were several in Colorado. If they won a medal, they are obviously doing something right. Have fun.

Thanks again everyone, looking forward to sharing a beer with some of you soon. If any of you ever make it down to Austin, hit me up and the first round is on me.

Hey man. In case you are coming this week I just heard word that Crooked Stave might be tapping batch 1 L'Brett D'or. You won't want to miss that, watch their facebook. I'll be there if you wanted to the trade. I thought I'd shoot you a BM instead posting on forum, I don't want to add to the hysteria.

Get there early, these special kegs tend to tap out in 15 mins.

    Safe travels

Will be visiting Denver in June. Was wondering what is Colorados growler policy. Do they allow other breweries growlers

Like filling another brewery's growler? It seems to be dependent on that brewery's policy, but most will do it, there is no law against it.

Ok cool. Already have tons of growlers would rather save a few bucks and bring them out instead of buying new ones

You can be part of history if you hit Comrade Brewing just right. They should be rolling out some new beers soon. English summer, imperial stout and something else....probably another IPA
