Just found out that the festival I am going to does not allow glass bottles. So I am now seacrh for the best canned craft beers. Because I will be consuming beverage during the day I am looking for some lower ABV beers. Thanks for the help.

Founders All Day, Sly Fox beers, and if you can get down to NJ, Boat Beer.

Skip the session IPA's. It's not worth it for less than 1/2% ABV difference.

+1 on the boat beer...had it for the first time and I found it to be leagues ahead of Founders All Day (although those fifteen packs are pretty nifty). If you can get Westbrook they make a lot of fine offerings in cans as well (One Claw Rye Pale or even their IPA are both relatively light and well balanced, doubt you'd find their Gose but if you do and you don't mind sour beer take any and all you can find, super satisfying in the summer heat). Sixpoint is also a no-brainer.

Brooklyn Summer Ale, and Lager is in 12 pack cans now; might be a nice pick up as an introduction for some non-craft drinkers as well.

Pop-up IPA by Boulevard is pretty good at 4.3abv.

Oops...just realized they are in bottle or draft only:confused: My bad!

Will jump on the Founders All Day IPA bandwagon. Solid beer at a very good price. Can't go wrong.

I wish everyone could get Daisy Cutter. Without a doubt my favorite warm weather, day drinking beer. I suppose you could always trade for some...

SNPA, you'll be a god to everyone around you. Trade it for food, other beers, or for those crazy drugs people always take at festivals.

1/2% difference than what? I'm not getting your point.

There are a bunch of low abv canned beers. Go to your store, look them over, then decide. Most of us don't know what you can and cannot get in CT, so why recommend stuff you can't even get.

Worst case you always have SNPA or Boston Lager.
