Not excited about a six-pack format changing to a 4-pack of Tallboys (for what will most likely not be a beneficial cost change)... bad trend, bad, bad trend.

Agreed. Don't want to raise costs on existing packaging? Reduce the packaging. 6 packs get reduced to 4 packs or bombers, blah, blah, blah. It's universal unfortunately. Coffee by the pound was commonplace now it's all 12 oz packages at the same price or slightly higher. Even see 8 oz packages being sold now. I think it's universally understood that consumers by and large would rather pay the same price for less of the product than pay more for the same product. Apparently consumers is dumb.

I'm being told $8 for a 4 pack of Two Hearted cans at my local beer store where it's $10 for a six pack of bottles. If this is true, then it's a decrease in price per ounce. Either way I welcome cans, as they are superior to bottles in keeping hoppy IPAs fresh!

you guys ever notice that 1/2 gallons of OJ are now (actually have been) less than 64oz at the same price point? we're all dumb yes, but it is, unfortunately, what it is

It isn't what it isn't as well then, I would assume.

Speak for yourself: I'll stop buying Two Hearted entirely if the cost per ounce goes up and just drink Anti Hero. No loss.

Put down the beer and keyboard for the night...

    A half gallon is 64oz.

Tallboys aren't replacing sixers, it's an additional format. And from what I've seen, cans should be priced more favorably than bottles, at least in the Chicago area.

I know a half-gallon is 64oz. I'm saying that many brands, Tropicana for sure, have reduced the size to like 63.2oz. or something like that. Keeping the price the same.

I like OJ as much, probably more, than the next guy. It says it in my username. What are we talking about here?

I'm seeing the same prices for 4pk cans vs 6pk bottles and you can't agrue that they'll remain fresher not letting in any light.

    4 16oz cans -- 64oz at $8.00 = .125 per oz.
    6 12oz bottles -- 72oz at $10.00 = .138 per oz.

PLUS YOU CAN BRING THEM TO THE BEACH! I for one embrace this big time.

Have seen it confirmed at one store here in Michigan that they are selling it for 7.99 per 4pk cans.

Two Hearted cans finally shipped. Same price as the Oberon ($7.99). Stores should be stocked with both this week.

im all for it. the tall boy cans are the best. lighter and can take them to the beach or pool a few extra cents is worth that to me. plus a nice aggressive pour into a proper nonic pint will not only hold all the beer but leave a thick head that i can enjoy the entire brew for when im at home
