    Hi all,

    Clarification on a few points.

Number of offerings - The Bruery will be serving 21 beers and there will be another ~50 beers from the 25 other breweries pouring at the festival.

Tasters - There will be no taster tickets. We're offering unlimited taster sized pours of all beers in 1, 2 or 3 oz pours depending on the abv %. Intoxicated guests will not be served, so we urge all guests stay hydrated, eat plenty and taste responsibly .

    Cheers!

Wow. Awesome guys! I already see myself getting multiples of those 1oz samples, but hey...At least no one will complain that they can't try everything they want

This just completely complicated my plan of doing both Sucreversary and the Lost Abbey 8th Anniversary party...

I'm probably in the minority but since I like the higher abv stouts (of which there aren't too many), the idea of only getting a 1 ounce pour of them isn't exactly appealing. I would have preferred keeping the ten (or even 5) taster tickets for 2.5/5.0 ounce pours but adding the unlimited smaller pours, but it is what it is.

Exactly - they could be giving away a free car with every ticket and someone will bitch that it's not the right model.

    Pretty pumped for this party!

You bring up a good point. I can't believe they're not giving away a free car!

On a more related note, I too am excited for this Sat. I've already made my hit list, and I'm really curious to try Oreo BT and Pugachev's Cobra w/ cacao nibs and coconut.

This actually happened to me! Two employees were recently given brand new company trucks. One of them didn't stop complaining that it was too bumpy of a ride and that it didn't have tinted windows.

Great news!!! Since it works for GABF each year, it should work for this party as well. Great decision.

Yeah and if they would have offered 8oz samplers someone would complain that they will get drunk quickly and won't be able to taste other beers.

Yes, I could do that, but being an older guy with chronic bad knees, it is not something I would prefer to do. In addition, if I'm constantly in line again and again, it would mean my designated driver wife will be sitting by herself for longer periods of time, which as you married guys know, is a recipe for disaster!
