The beers that I can safely drink with no concern is increasing greatly in the last couple of weeks.

Big Bad Baptist must be consumed now.

Awesome! A couple months back I was at the brewery and they said they hoped to be in Texas soon, possibly in 2014, great to see it happening!

Keg1 mentioned this to me a couple weeks back that Epic was looking into distributors. I figured it was a 50/50 that they really were.

So the last 2-3 weeks have been:
    Smuttynose
    Jolly Pumpkin
    Epic
    Fritz....1809
    And some other Belgians

We may get to a point soon where people do not have to be at the store the second things come out. Either that, or people are too broke to buy it all. I am fine either way.

and when that happens, then the rest of us won't have to be at the store the second things come out anyways

I'm going to pat us craft beer drinkers from Texas on the back... we've drank a lot of beer the last two to three years... and got the attention of some great breweries that like selling beer to people who will buy it.

Houston hoarders deserve their own pat on the back. They have created an unnatural demand for beer that breweries are not used to. They probably took notice of the sheer amount of money they can make by putting random beers out and knowing it will sell out regardless immediately if it has any bit of name recognition.

Ha...meant to word it as beers I can drink out of my cellar without worrying about acquiring another.

I almost just feel bad for the rest of TX. I expect it to be distributed outside of Central TX quickly enough though...

People underestimate the number of people in Houston and the outlying suburbs.

Looks like it won't be getting to TX until August.

It would be silly for a craft brewery to go through the hassle and expense involved in moving to a new state and not hit all the major markets. They'll find distributors with little problem.
