They used to have a location in Brooklyn as well but if I remember correctly it closed and they were looking for a new location in Brooklyn.

Chefkevlar is sort of correct. It isn't a private label. I mean it sort of is but he isn't giving the recipe. He wants us to do our own thing. The beer table bar or company or whatever it is asked us to do our "take" on a table beer so their is a Westbrook one, of course they asked evil twin to do one as well so we did. We did one for the guy for Stillwater which is probably the link above I didn't look, that was a few years back. All surrounding the same concept.

Now Marleyr. The whole Westbrook version not coming to SC was weird until it was explained to me and it makes sense. This "table beer project" was done and the beer went through 12% distro. Well Advintage is our distributor in SC so if we sold a Westbrook beer to another distributor besides Advintage and they sold it in our state it would be a breach of contract (that's not the phrase I meant but you get what I mean). We can't have another company distro our beer in SC that isn't out distributor even if it is special circumstances. That's just business.

Also Mexican cake will not be out this week/weekend so make other plans if you were waiting to hear. Canning stuff the rest of the week. Feel free to stop by though and double check. We do have on mango salsa IPA and it's pretty darn tasty

Disappointing, but at least now I can plan other things for this weekend. Eager anticipation continues.

    Canning more Gose?

I'm running dry, and getting irritable..

Also, not sure of how you guys sour the Gose, but this years run that was canned on the 21st was fantastic as shit. It's not just me, but it seems more sour and it's so.dang.good. So don't change that, keep it more sour.

    From a distro perspective:

Mike is right, sometimes they hold stuff back for a week or two and then ship to us.
Also, sometimes allocations take a while to sort out for the more limited stuff, so it takes us a little longer to get out- that would be where you'd see the week-10 days-2 weeks. There's a lot of wonderful beer accounts in the state that need to be taken care of as fairly as possible.

Don't follow NC is a 15% Abv state.

12% isn't referring to an ABV. It's a distributor (iirc).

Yeah 12% is the name of the company not the abv of a beer. That confuses lots of people

I understand the Beer Table thing. I'm just being a little difficult :stuck_out_tongue:

As for the updates on Mexicake, we thank you @mikeincharleston

Myself and a friend of yours if I'm not totally confused, Jamie Jolly, are eagerly awaiting the upcoming releases. Thanks for the help with those panther bottles btw, I work with Jamie at Salud bottle shop in Charlotte. Was planning on a trip down this weekend or next to visit you guys and hopefully revisit Edmunds Oast.

Also, I'll second @FATC1TY request for more Gose. That stuff is a shelf ghost this year! I love it but living in NC I've only managed one sixer so far haha.

This guy from Cali was at Bottles yesterday. He asked one of the guys if they had Westbrook Gose in singles. The answer was "No." And the guy left empty handed. I just don't get people sometimes. You can afford to come here from Cali, but God forbid you drop $10 on a 6pk. Seems to happen very often. Some of them spend 10-20min looking at beer and singles (Total Wine) and leave without buying any.

Hmmm... I know some guys in the Charlotte area that landed a keg of this for an upcoming bday party. Might we be in the same circle?? If so, I'm gonna drink your precious keg good sir

I agree the Gose from the 4/21 batch is the best I have had! Great job Westbrook!

You recently had a keg of Hop Drop too, right? Where the hell do you get these??

I'm thinking about opening an Ancestry.com account to figure out the Westbrook/EvilTwin/12% relationship...all I know is I want(no, need) Westbrook in my state, asap! kthx.

Supposedly... the guys from 12 percent, westbrook, Evil Twin, CBX, are all in bed together. Something about the dudes from CBX's sister and Jeppe play racquetball on Thursdays and Mikkel brings them all hand made cheeses from the Netherlands and they have picnics at the Naval yard under a full moon to discuss how many whales will be released into the wild every month. Of course Mikkel won't share with Jeppe but they sit there staring at each other with hateful eyes while everyone else chit chats.

    Thats what I've heard anyways..

Yep. Hop Drop straight from Noda (there is no issue getting these) and gose from Stateline Elite (just over the border). I ordered the gose on the first release this year so there wasn't a ton of demand for it yet.

Not many places stock kegs like gose so you typically have to call and order one.
