    Bought this this morning...

    Looks like a "new" limited release, but the BA database shows this is perhaps a re-release?

    Not too shabby, subtle chipotle. not overpowering.

    But yesterday, this 10/11/12 aged beauty was AMAZING....

    Forgot how much I liked this when it came out, and it's even better now.

    Last night I got to try a few limited releases at a Churchkey special event - Terrapin barrel aged Wake N Bake (decent but not fantastic), Ithaca Flower Power, dry hopped with nelson in the cask (absolutely delicious), and Foothills Sexual Chocolate (great finisher). GF had Allagash Avance, Ithaca Cranbretty, and Terrapin Peach Farmhouse.

    Dude, you could totally brand these as beer muffins (since you used spent grain) and make various styles (blueberry, chocolate, coconut etc) and infuse them with a little IRS type flavor. You could make a killing! I'm hungry now and want them with a FBS!

    That's not a bad idea! These muffins are really awesome, the spent grain gives them a little more caramel and nutty flavor. Totally smells and tastes like you're sticking your head inside the mash tun. I would love to try a chocolate one with spent chocolate malt with some stout components like you mentioned. They would go great with an FBS of WnB type coffee stout.

    Rain today washed out my chances at a golf outing. Tomorrow's a duty-inflicted dry day. Looks like I'd better get started.

    Not bad; a little too much caramel for my liking, but certainly a decent beer. Not the first Dubbel I'll be reaching for in the future, though.

    Have to listen to this over and over, as it's my son's latest favorite song, apparently. (No, he doesn't understand the lyrics.)

    Some very nice beers being cracked open today so far. I'm drinking Hop Freak! Made with Rishi tea. It's like a beer tea, now that's my kind of tea.
