    I would advise against that practice. I always say, "wait until the yeast is pitched, then and only then get blitzed"

    Drinking a 60 Minute, sketching a design for a double immersion wort chiller I want to make in the near future. Anyone have any experience making/using something like that?

    It'll work, but I think you will have to watch the water flow rate so it gets wicked cold in the ice bath - otherwise it might not make much difference in terms of cooling time. I'm sure somebody has tried it and can speak to it directly. Did you post in the HB section?
