    Good morning BAs and happy almost Hump Day - still drinking nearly local in my hotel room. My goal today is to have supper at Brewery Vivant - hopefully better than a year ago.

    I've had nitro before, but have never had anything quite like this Victory Hop Devil poured at our favorite happy hour place, Alla Spina in Philly. Wow! Amazingly silky smooth. The pour job was top notch too.

    Now, if you lived in Philly haven't been to Alla Spina for happy hour, you MUST! Awesome deals there including $1/shuck oysters. The place is owned by Vetri so the quality of the food is well above any gastro pub or bar in in Philly. All that food there, the beer, and 14 wings not in the photos costed $24.

    Good morning BA's. Just got off a 24hour shift, and as of right now I've been awake approximately 27hours. Revisiting this one for the first time in over 3 years. Things are about to get weird.

    Beautiful cool day, great for ripping skin in thickets looking for the spongy delicious devils in pic. Will be out there in a few minutes. Yday found a (I think) coyote den, what a crazy scattering of assorted bones and feathers strewn around. Hope to only find more of these delectable beauties today. This beer, BTW, is delish. Cheers!

    It's not often that I'm home from work at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, the wife and kids are having dinner (AND baths) at the in-laws, and my only responsibilities are: Well, nothing:grimacing:.
    Might as well have a beer appropriate for the occasion.

    When I first read about this beer, I thought, "Only 8 weeks in bourbon barrels AND it's blended with their regular Tripel? How is there going to be any bourbon influence?" Well, let me tell you, they got this one just right!
