Of course Upland's Sour, Wild, Funk Fest is this Saturday (and tickets are still available).

Sun King/Oskar Blues event at Mass Ave Pub tonight.
Scarlet Lane launch at Fire by the Monon on Wednesday.
Oskar Blues at B's Po Boy on Thursday.
Local sours at Tomlinson Tap Room on Thursday.
Local sours at Mass Ave Pub on Friday.

Is anything else going on? Feel free to post any findings.

I thought I saw on FB that Scarlet Lane rescheduled their launch on account of the weather.

edit: I see it's now at Fire, which you have listed. I'll just shut up now.

Flatwater tapped 3 barrel-aged Sun King beers in a mini tap-takeover last night. It also coincided with $3 pint night and it turned out they weren't exempt (though they were 12 oz pours). I had a good time last night.

Coco Chevelle (bourbon barrel-aged Timmie w/cocoa nibs and vanilla beans)
    tequila barrel-aged Fistful of Hops
Isle of Muckle (scotch barrel-aged Wee Muckle)

All were really solid to pretty damn fantastic, Sun King's barrel program grows and gets stronger. Props to them. Several other handles of good beer, too, if you didn't feel like sweating out BA beers in the hot, humid Indiana springtime or if you had to drive me home last night.

Oh, and FWIW, they also do $3 pints on Tuesdays and all were still flowing as of lunch today according to Flatwater's Facebook. Not telling you what to do, but if you solicit my advice, I'd suggest getting right with a tenderloin with chips and all 3 beers for $20. Tip generously and flirt with some cougars. Underrated spot.

I'm sad, yet feel vindicated. Odd.

Any word on what Tomlinson is going to have tomorrow in advance of the sour fest this weekend (that I'll sadly be missing on account of prior engagements)?

I would make the trip from BTown for Brugge alone.

I can confirm that as of this posting, all of the Sun King specialty beers are still flowing... And there are cougars-a-plenty, one even comes with a Russian'ish accent.

I can also confirm that there are some legit sours pouring at Tomlinson Tap Room right now... Better hurry!

The Brugge "One In A Lifetime" (BBL Aged Apricot Sour) has definitely been my favorite. Bottles of Upland Darksynth are pouring but you have to buy it by the bottle ($30), luckily I found 3 other dudes to split one with. Haven't had anything that wasn't worth my time.

Hmmmm. I liked darksynth when I tried it in Bloomington, but I don't think I could take down a whole 750 on my own tonight.

Are they doing flights of the sours on tap?
