Is this where Sixpoint starts to fall back down to earth? The reformulation of Autumnation followed by Global Warmer followed by Hi-Res followed by a Radler? :astonished:

So, should I pick up an Apollo before it is gone (or is it too late now)? Not sure how often/if we will see it on draft here in MD. When stuff goes draft-only then it is usually much more scarce and harder to find.

So, I googled the term "Cycliquids" because it sounded cool and I had never heard of it before. Apparently, I just found out that @Sixpoint is actually, Mad Scientists Brewing Partners LLC.

    Damn I loved Apollo.

I do love Radlers though. Knowing them it'll be crazy different and amazing. Maybe a premixed Berliner Weisse ala Festina Peche? Let's see where it goes.

Seeing as Sixpoint has already axed all of my favorite beers, I for one am glad to see them releasing a style I enjoy.

Yeah, I saw that a while back. I skipped it because of it. Similar to me buying some 3 Beans that was well past it's prime, but it was still tasty, so...

Will be happy to talk more about the Rad once it ships out for delivery. Doing some final tweaking before release...

Expect the unexpected. This is not a "radler" - its the "RAD" ;-)

We never sent the distributor an old batch, we have not canned the Apollo since April of 2013.

Not sure what you mean by that bro - this beer is not what you think it is

    You are amazingly clairvoyant

Yeah, bro. I guess we'll see once it comes out.

I love me some Sixpoint. Solid beers, but nothing spectacular. However, what I was getting at with my previous post was that the last few seasonals have been great, and I'm a little skeptical about this one. But we'll see. I'm definitely intrigued.

I think Sixpoint IS spectacular, very few out there like Sixpoint. Hearing the term "Radler" makes me skeptical also. What really makes me skeptical is knowing that this will be in the 16 oz. format. Will I be paying the same price as a 6%+ IPA (the old 16 oz. Bengali Tiger) for a 3% beer that I go through twice as fast? That's my only concern. Reminds me of DFH's excellent Festina Peche priced around $50 a case which goes really fast given it's 4.5% drinkability.

i think my statement is pretty clear, no? it's an opinion. i don't think Sixpoint canned beers are generally very good. 3Beans was definitely solid. i also enjoyed Apollo.

but engaging people aggressively on the internet about their opinions about your product is definitely a good look on a business.

Well, 3 Bean isn't going to be hurt with some time on it. That beer can't ever be bad in my book.

YUp....had Apollo the year before and it was slight sour and really enjoyable. Looked forward to last years batch and grabbed a four pack. Ughhhh....it was a bubblegum mess....not at all what I remembered it being.......Still love me some Sixpoint beers

    Enjoy

Actually, your statement could have been taken 180 degrees out. It's the internet; there are no vocal cues. "definitely one of their best canned beers (IMO, not saying very much)." could have meant what you (apparently) intended: "I don't like their beers, really, but this one is about as good as they get." It also could have meant: "Hey, BTW, all of their beers are canned, but I think this is one of the best...so I guess I don't really have a point, except to say that it's good!"

I can easily see how you meant it to come across, but I can easily see how there is some ambiguity. Asking for clarification is hardly aggressive. Although I'm sure your statement on that was sarcastic......right? Probably? Some emoticons, maybe? I'm sure you don't mean it actually is a good look for business.

"Engaging people aggressively" must mean "asking people clarification on what they meant" :-)

Clearly there is more than what meets the eye on a message board and without the benefit of direct interpersonal communication, a lot of the nuance of communication is lost. Hence, the request for clarification. You might have known exactly what you meant, but that does not mean that I or others on the forum knew what you were driving at.

Exactly bro, hence what I wrote above.
