    Will do.

However, I don't consider pouring that mess a travesty at all. To each his own.

Well, the majority of people disagree with me, so you're probably right pertaining to its balance. Perhaps I should've aged it?

It may help, but I love the stuff fresh. It'll definitely smooth it out though, so wouldn't hurt.

Every time someone drainpours a craft beer God kills a kitten.

The vanilla may have just been too strong for me.

I enjoy bourbon, though, so that would be very surprising. lol

Oh, I am trying the Backwoods if I can get my hands on it. After tasting how great the Dirty Bastard is, I can't imagine it going wrong. Of course, I've never drank four 10% beers in a day let alone from one mug in one shot. I would think that was righteous move, but all that build up just to drain pore sounds pathetic. I am at a loss for words really.

I would rather He kill kittens than waste good beer.

Feed the beer to the kittens. Problem solved.

I am a big fan of Old Dirty Bastard, Backwoods Arrogant Bastard, Oaked Red's Curmudgeon, Kentucky Bourbon Stout, FRS energy drinks, and my favorite, Centennial's Better Half.

    Oh, and Cashew Butter Brown.

The Old Dirty Bastard I had was expired. Bet it would be better fresh.

Founder's is a great brewery. I always buy their porter when it comes on sale for a cheap $6.99 a sixer which is dirt cheap for one of the best porters I have ever had. Both their imperial and breakfast stouts are worth all the hype. But I have to say my favorite beer they make is Backwoods Bastard, it has an amazing whiskey taste by far my favorite Scotch ale.

curmudgeon needs to age..fresh it's a bit plain, but with 6 months to year on it, it's very good. just my experience.

While drinking it I got the feeling it needed some age. I have a few bottles left. I have 2 options. I can pour all of them into one giant mug, take 2 sips and then drain pour the whole thing. Or I can put it away and try one in 6 months.
I will probably go wiith the later.

Glad to see you got your hands on some Founders. While Founders is easily my favorite brewery (that I have access to) those price points are crazy. If they have a mix a six option at your store and Founders is part of it then it wouldn't hurt just grabbing one of each and seeing what you like the best. Hopefully those prices come down or other stores in your area get it with lower prices. In downstate IL we pay $9.99 for a sixer of the year round stuff and 10-12 for the seasonal/limited stuff (barring KBS).

So you shop at a place that sells (educated guess) for less than wholesale price? Good for you but they better hope they don't get caught!

I agree, unfortunately it most likely will not be available til next year if the store doesn't have a stock of it yet. I'm hoping my grocery store has a lot left, most of the bottle shops around me are out already.
