Their 90 min and 120 are def Imperials. It's a super hopped and strong IPA.

    There isn't a difference. It's just marketing.

    No difference

If I recall correctly, Abner is marked as an imperial pale ale up at HF

Perpetual is an imperial pale ale as well. Never felt there was a difference.

If you call an IPA a Imperial Pale Ale, you get a +10pt boost in the beers rating, that's about it.

FFF calls Permanent Funeral an Imperial Pale Ale. I call it Double Zombie Dust.

In my experience an Imperial Pale Ale = DIPA, not IPA -- due to the higher ABV and pronounced malt.

I think some brewers have swerved into oxymoron territory with styles. Waiting for an Imperial Session Ale...

Regular IPAs and DIPAs "should" have a very hoppy character followed by a sweet malty finish. I can only guess that the hoppy bite will be subdued in a DPA with a more balanced malty body throughout?

Fair enough, but Double and Imperial are used interchangeably in reference to IIPA and DIPA. My point was more the Pale Ale vs. India Pale Ale.

This Imperial Pale Ale reminded me of an India Pale Ale
