Ugh. I hope everyone is safe and they don't have too much damage.

I'm sure they are gonna be fine what with all those stones/rocks, concrete and what not.
Looking forward to the new Rauchbier though.

I think I read it was actually only a 3 hour (or so) time lapse. I bet it was up until they had to evacuate.

Any updates on the fire situation? I've been a bit sick thinking about Stone and the other breweries being so close to burning. :slight_frown:

Funny, but not cool. I can see a tongue-in-cheek Cocos Fire Rauchbier with cocoa nips released this fall.

Agree, that was wrong, I apologize and hope all the best to all of those affected and the people battling the flames.

A facility like Stone, especially with the defensible space/buffer they have around it, would take a lot to get damaged by the fire. Yeah, the fire behavior down there, especially for this time of year is nuts...but there is a good break between the brush and the building. Don't get me wrong, it's been getting intense down there for the past few days, but the strike teams of structural firefighting engines, brush engines, and hand crews are doing a great job down there. It doesn't hurt to have the air support either.

Not so much the Stone facility, but the homes and apartments of the employees are I think what the concern is. We will probably still get some Ruination and IRS.
