Firestone walker - Stickee Monkee

It's all over Denver. Hit here really early somehow.

 

Somebody in IL posted some in the hauls thread.

 

I picked some up at the Grand Ave. Binny's in downtown Chicago yesterday. Looked like they got a decent amount. I didn't expect it to show up on the shelves here so soon.

 

VA could see it as early as next week. At least that us the impression I got when my Specialty rep called me yesterday about it, said it would be a Parabola like situation with accounts receiving 6 bottles.

 

??? I thought it wasn't being released until this Saturday at the brewery then it would follow the usual distro path of taking up to 6 weeks to hit all retail accounts. ???

 

I picked one up yesterday. Like @Kramerbarthomer said, no clue how/why we're getting it early here, but we are.

 

I got mine at Binnys yesterday, keeping that stereotype alive

 

This is the first time that FW has sent it out for distribution before the scheduled release. Not sure if this will be the new norm. May 19 was the date advertised as being first available at all locations. That didn't happen obviously.

Where have you found it in Denver, if you don't mind me asking? Haven't seen it at my usual shops . . . yet.

 

Two responses:

A) Parabola hasn't even hit yet, and it took Velvet Merkin about six months from release to finally hit NYC shelves.

B) I am shocked at how many non-East Coasters seem to read the mid-Atlantic thread.

Haven't seen it yet in Cali...There was probably a memo by distro to hold it a few days, but some places put it out anyway.

 

The Binny's on Grand said they got 6 full cases, which was way more than Parabola.

 

I'm confused, since when are CA, CO, AZ and IL part of the Mid Atlantic?

 

Oh goodie, I'll have to rely on my friends in Cali and Oregon...
