    My first Fantôme beer and it's great. Lots of herbs/spices. Reminds me of BBQ meat lol also some light cigarette/ashy taste but really nice.

    Had a Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold last night. You can really taste the malt connection with Elliot Ness - very similar but lighter in flavor. I probably would have enjoyed it more on a hotter day.

    It's a beautiful sunny day out on my front patio here in southern Germany, and this beer is as near to perfect as it gets - I enjoy the fact it doesn't have any ridiculous label art and a silly name. It is what it is, because it ain't what it isn't.

    rise & grind! starting out with some fresh ground Four Barrel cafe, poured over a little French vanilla cream at the base. not much in the way of head but plenty of 'roast'. :stuck_out_tongue: good morning BA!
