    Bought a couple 4-packs of the 2013 Narwhal, drank one "fresh" (from the store) then one about 3-4 months old. This one's 8 months or so, and I think I liked the 3-4-month-old better. It's good, but it smells better than it tastes (smells sweet, vanilla, coffee, chocolate; tastes MUCH darker and is leaving a burnt leaves tastes behind).

    Still good enough. Cheers!

    Trying out Sierra Nevada's Southern Hemisphere Harvest Fresh Hop IPA. I like the beer quite a bit, but like its brother, the Northern Hemisphere Harvest, I just don't love it. I think for such a limited, seasonal release, it should just have bigger - not just fresher - hop flavors. This is more like an IPA that I want year-round, as it's a good beer, but it doesn't blow my mind.

    Ehh; don't let me convince you it's not good. It is good. Go buy it. :slight_smile:
