Ha, the only reason I know about them is I bought some in Portland. The bottle/can says to take them camping, boating, etc and chill them in the snow or the lake. It makes sense for the area.

These were the two I had:

I like that I'm the only one that SORT OF answered the question and I was a sarcastic bitch about it....

Considering it's damn $7-$9 for most Prairie 12oz beers and is more per oz than Parabola and Dark Lord, the least they could do is wax the bottle

Parabola has no wax? Or does it. I havent opened up my box...

Well, it has a cap cover, and a fancy box. Considering it was aged 12 months and is 14% and only $14.99 a bomber, Prairie beers are looking a bit too expensive

I wish it was as cheap as arrogant bastard, that would only make it $2.99 per 12oz

Huh? Are you actually annoyed that they don't wax the bottles or box them (both of which do nothing for the flavor) or are you just annoyed with their cost in general?

I'm hoping he isn't complaining about the cost considering how many cases of Prairie beer I've seen him post...

I bought 3 Parabolas today and none were $14.99
Would love to know where you're getting them for that.

Everywhere I have seen them, they have been $18 or greater.

And by everywhere, it means where I have seen the prices listed. But they were sold out. Because we live in TX. And we can never have any "rare" beer sit on a shelf for more than 37 seconds.

What @HookemHops13 said. I joined this sight and immediately got eye fu©k'd by cases of Prairie beer you bought. It wasn't gentle.

Also, Parabola should be $16-$19 +tax, right?

In Texas, roughly. I think last year was $15-17. Of course in CA, it's more like $11 (if you have a Costco membership) or $15.

That said, I do wish Prairie (and several other breweries') beers were less expensive.

Can verify the $14.99 price up here in DFW, paid that price or less for 3 of my bottles. Actually paid $12.75 for one thanks to a ACBW sale (15% off craft) at one store.
