Got off night shift early enough to grab me one of these bad boys at Beerhive. Drinking great for 2009. I hope everyone is having a great and safe weekend. [IMG]

I'm not gonna lie - I'm onto my second pour of Holy Sheet - and since the NBS thread isn't up yet...
Lookit that pour - like ale from a garden hose on a hot summer day...

I'm not a big dubbel drinker - prefer the paler Belgian ales usually, like tripels and saisons...
...So maybe a true dubbel devotee could find fault with some aspects of this ale - but I am really diggin' it.

    My posting tunes...

    Cheers!

Had brunch with wife. Had an Odell Tree Shaker Peach Imperial IPA which was excellent and a Bells Berry Ale which although good, can't come close to touching New Glarus fruit beers. What a beautiful Sunday, enjoy the day!

Hell of a share last night on a gorgeous evening.
The 5 of us were in heaven...

    TG/Treehouse David ~ Perfect start
    [IMG]

    HF Arthur ~ Fantastic!

JK Atrial Rubicite ~ Holy shitbalz!

Dark Horse BBPt5 Brass Mug ~ Very nice.
I would like to do a side by side with the original BBPt5
    [IMG]

    CS Billionaire ~ Love it
    [IMG]

Kuhnhenn Fourth Dementia ~ Almost as good as the BB version
    [IMG]

RR Beatification B6 ~ Possibly the best sour I ever had so far.
    I need more of this...

Kuhnhenn BA American Imperial ~ Unique. Very good
    [IMG]

Home made Bourbon County Vanilla Ice Cream with a touch of Bourbon Maple Syrup.
    Mind blowing!
    Well done Jared ~ bravo!!!

Cantillon CVG ~ Nice funky change of pace. Lovely.

TG Naughty Temple ~ Very good, but just not worth $25 - IMO.
    Still very good though...

    Not pictured:
We had a Dark Horse Smells Like a Safety Meeting (very good) and we tried some experimental porter with something (? - can't remember) and vanilla beans with no label from 3 Brothers which was interesting - to be kind...lol

Vicki also made some kick ass burgers!

Thanks for hosting Paul & Vicki!

    Cheers!
