What beer are you drinking now? #582

Great idea... hide the real beer in a "Yuengling" coozy. Nobody is the wiser that you have something good. Have to remember that when I have friends over - break out the old "Bud" coozies.
I need to get a hold of some Indeed. It's on France44, but haven't pulled the trigger.
(...I actually order Yuengling whenever there is only that or Bud/Miller on the menu, so no disrespect meant...)

 

Moved on to Lefthand Milk Stout. Been too long since I last enjoyed one of these.

 

5.4% alcohol. 66 IBU. Brewed in Wisconsin.

 

What's wrong with the focus? Looks fine to me.

I assumed since you were in Colorado that was just the haze/smoke.

At a BBQ... Brought some black note and BCBS for a couple friends to taste. After some conversation one of the guys says, "a friend brought me a bottle from some brewery he found in MN. A pale ale he said... Supposed to be good"

 

ISO those frigginn Oreos!

 

I'm trying to like this beer, but it's still not happening. The Gozu was a bit better than this one. Cheers!

After I finished working in the yard earlier, I noticed a place about 15 minutes away had both Stickee Monkey and Sucaba on tap. So, I could head up to the pool to meet the family for a couple of hours or I could go "shopping" since I needed to hit Lowes which by coincidence is a few minutes from there.

I chose the shopping trip to Lowe's. And since I was already out, why not hit the beer store nearby (after the trip to the bar). I never see Titan fresh and this was about as fresh as we see in these parts.



I love Hercules more than most, but this is just a good beer. Not great. On the other hand, I want to take a shower in Stickee Monkey.

Ha . . . when I go visit the GF's family in PA, I drink Yuengling all day long. I actually like it a lot!

 

Sad when the bottle is empty, happy when I realize I have more stashed away.

 

As a PA beer, actually basically a Philly beer, it's everywhere in the mid-Atlantic. It if need to get "regular" beer for a party or to pick up for a golf outing, one beer I'll grab will be either Yuengling or Yuengling Light. It's definitely a step up from most of the regular line up. I just like the coozy idea. "Nothing to see here folks, move along, nothing in this hand other than a typical Yuengling..."

 

Made my mind up and went Green Flash Road Warrior. It's a flavor bomb that doesn't disappoint.

 

Had this earlier today. Really enjoyed it but always have a difficult time drinking black ales/black IPA's. Such a mind trip.

 

Starting the evening with a nice summer fridge beer.

 

I love how this is like my 12th beer and this is still so fuckin tasty. Last carefree night of my vacation...definitely enjoying it. Crashing big time, though.
