    Good morning BAs and here's to a safe and happy Memorial Day! I have unilaterally declared this week to be German (or Austrian) Breakfast Beer Week. Why? Because I recently had an epiphany concerning how many good beers I was potentially missing because I've tended to avoid German beers (Except Schlenkerla and Kostritzer) because of several baaad experiences with Wurzburger Hofbrau when I was stationed there. So I'm starting the week with a delicious beer I haven't had since 2006:

    I had a few HDR at the pool yesterday, it's about 7 days old, and had my first Two Hearted in a can done on 5/5 so it's a little over two weeks old. I'm finding less reasons to ever look for IPA's out of area, although I do love TG SUE and those Ohio IPA's. Same for today.

    Observation: We take a day off to honor our fallen vets, a day off to recognize our retired vets, and a day off to celebrate our independence - but no holiday on Armed Forces Day, to show our appreciation for those currently in service?
    All too often we wait till something's gone before we realize what's been there all along...
