Princeton's is a very good shop, but it's really not very close to Blaine.
Closer shops to Blaine with great selections are:
    Northgate, as mentioned above.
Rapids Liquor on Foley and Hwy 10 (lots of singles)
Rum River Wine and Spirits in Ramsey

I also recommend HammerHeart Brewery in Lino Lakes, which isn't far - but they have no kitchen.
Bricks has a decent tap list, but it's a bit expensive and the lighting is very dim at night. They do have a full menu though.

I just realized that one of the best breakfasts in town is at The Lowry Uptown. Also, great bloody mary's and a solid and fairly extensive tap list of you want to close out breakfast with a beer. It also puts you about 3 and a half miles from Steel Toe, which is just outside of the Minneapolis city line, in St. Louis Park. Word on the street is that they are now open from noon to 6:00 PM on Sundays (but no growlers). But I would call to confirm, because this is all new here.

1-3pm this Saturday we're tapping a 1/6 keg of 2012 Darkness for a free tasting. It's the 1st of 5 saturdays in a row we're going to tap something special for our beer customers.

What's the parking situation like near Town Hall?

There is a ramp next to Holiday Inn that I normally use (very close but a bit spendy). There is very little street parking in that area unfortunately. You may save a bit of money if you park a few blocks away and walk a bit.

There is limited on street parking and there is a ramp at the holiday in that is for public use and is next door.

It used to be a $1 an hour back when I went to college, but it has gone up. It is still affordable though, it is not downtown premium (gouging) pricing.

Looks like it is $3.50 for an hour, $6 for 1-2, $8 for 2-3 and $13 for 3-10

Thanks, I'll probably park a few blocks away if it's free parallel parking. I'll google map a bit and see what streets seem open.

If you get there at a non-peak time there is a lot and a few spots behind Bullwinkles across the street. But I'd say down cedar on the cross streets (like 4th) might be ok... parking is not great in this area, so as a MN'er I apologize in advance.

I hesitate to spill the beans on my favorite free Town Hall parking spot, but I'm leaving town in a few months anyway, so here goes. 14th Ave S between 1st and 2nd streets, just north of TH. 1 or 2 hour parking, which keeps the all-day parkers away, but it's poorly patrolled, so you're probably safe parking longer. There are almost always open spots. You can get there by turning down the alley between TH and the I-35W on-ramp.
