That post is just stupid. Glycol in beef? No, it's in the beer cooling system

Im all about fish bladder in my beer.

Its funny they list beers to avoid because of ingredients that are 'bad for you', when alcohol itself is by all definitions a poison to our bodies.

Agreed. She's been a nuisance. I know firsthand.

While I agree the industry should be required to list ingredients, any consumer conscious enough to avoid GMOs probably ain't drinking much swill in the first place.

Fish Bladder sounds kinda natural. I often enjoy my beer with a plate of stuffed pig intestines. I'm totally on board with your post.

I think we beat this one to death a while ago...can't find the thread. Amazes me the lack of understanding about the basics. Like isinglass is not an "ingredient" in beer...it is a processing aid. How these self-proclaimed experts get so much exposure is beyond me.

I've stopped drinking the beers listed on that page a while ago, but I can tell you it has little to do with their GMO & corn syrup content, & more to do with the fact that they taste like tonic water filtered through a rusty iron pipe.

Yeah not the best article. Luckily all those beers are pretty bad anyway... but not for the reasons listed.

Gotta call shenanigans on your comment here. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, there is no reason to bad mouth solid beers like those on the list. You may be really into craft beer or maybe you just don't like pilsners but it's not fair to categorize a beer as bad because you don't like the style. These beers all have their place and Guinness in particular is delicious, ever had it fresh from their brewery? If not then man you are missing out!

I am so sick of hearing about GMOs, gluten, high-fructose corn syrup, etc.. People need to stop worrying about what everyone else is eating.

I'll give you Guinness if you're a fan (I'm not), but the other seven... which one of these are good? New Castle Brown Ale, Budwesier, Corona Extra, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light, PBR. Not a single one of those is a "solid beer". Badmouthing mass produced "lite" beers =/= bashing pilsners.
