Beer Release (Short's Brew): Cinnabilly

    Hey folks-

    I figured I'd get this rolling, since Cinnabilly has been bottled and is awaiting distribution.

    This is not only a first-time bottled brew for us, but also the first that has been bottled on our new filler. The upgrade has been substantial, and we look forward to growing to the needs of Michigan.

    Cinnabilly - Appealing at first sight and first scent, this clear caramel colored gem emits a soft potpourri of cinnamon sticks and brown sugar, with hints of vanilla. Sweet malt flavors allow for an array of sensations ranging from toasted almonds to spiced bread to cinnamon graham crackers. The pleasant addition of cinnamon forms wonderful accents throughout that are never overwhelming, but always complementing from start to finish.
    ABV 7.25%
    IBU 13

    This sounds tremendous. Will definitely be making a trek into Michigan to look for bottles.

    Shhhhhh. Don't tell anybody. Doppelbock variants are quite rare and I want to hoard this one.

    The only beer I can get my wife to drink is Rubaeus but I'm going to try this one with her as well.

    Sounds like you are preparing the masses to be disappointed. What's the bottle count?

    The new bottling line will help, but until the new facilities are finished I'd expect limited #'s. That's just my guess, I have 0 inside knowledge on this

    Nah, if you're quick you should be just fine. 660 cases, approx -- just like all the others.

    We will be taking it slow with increasing specialty cases...starting with ones we know sell out fast.

    Which is most! I'm just excited to be able to get 1/2 barrels instead of 1/6's & 1/4's of certain beers. You know people are going to demand shorts cake lol.
