    Was really excited for this bad boy:

    Cognac barrels are becoming something that intrigues me, and they really complement the base barleywine here. Nice dark fruit flavors complemented by some oak and definite alcohol heat. A nice sipper that I'll be enjoying for the rest of my evening.

    Hahaha...I started drinking a couple of All Day IPAs an hour or 2 in. Went to the Sculpin as a reward. Gotta admit, it was tiring but our kitchen was designed by the people we bought the house from so...yeah, it was fun.

    It's the Byrne Dairy on Old Liverpool Road. They have a decent selection, and occasionally get some good stuff at the growler station.
