Aurora, IL Discgolf

    Looking for a double match for some beer at Jericho Lake park, but would be willing to do a "home/home" match up if there is a chicago suburb course you prefer.

    I have either a Baller stout or Dark Intrigue up for grabs and my partner has a Kentucky Rye'd chicken or Bo & Luke to add in. Looking to go 2:2 bottles for the match. Best disc, 1 round from short tees and 1 round from long tees.

    I do like Oswego's course, but Jericho was my first course (and is geographically the most convenient) and you always remember your first love

    I'd be down to meet up and play with someone without betting beers if anyone wants. Just thought some stakes would make it interesting

    I hear you. I have that affinity for Naperville's stompable course. I got my first ace there. Now that I'm in Joliet/Crest Hill, the two Joliet courses and Channahon and Shorewood are my regulars. I'll try to message you ahead of time if I'm going to head out that way to throw. Cheers

    I wish I could say I've played there. Its from a private course here in Texas that a friend helped design...it's the only reason I have a pic of it. Apparently that's a custom-built island made solely for the course. Dude has some cash :grimacing:

    Thats very sexy, I love that courses are starting to be designed as opposed to "lets just throw these baskets where ever"

    I wish DG was more popular around my area but I guess i can't complain too much

    I'm definitely lucky to be where I am (Dallas)...we've got 60+ courses within an hour drive of downtown. Hate to brag, but we also have the #1 and #3 rated courses in the nation about 2hrs outside of town :slight_smile: If you ever find yourself in North Texas, hit me up!

    Back on topic - did anyone ever take you up on your wager?

    Nope, all crickets. Oh well, figured it was a long shot but i love discgolf and gambling so i had to try to combine them!

    What are the name of these courses that are so highly rated? IIm down in Houston but travel frequently to Dallas to visit family... adding some courses to play along the way would be great!
