Good morning BAs! Well, my German Beer for Breakfast Week has come to a successful conclusion, but I still have some leftovers, so the nest few days (< 7) will be German Beer for Brunch Days. So todays selection is:


Yep, that's the head, all 2 cm of it. This cost $ 1.69 for the 330 mL bottle - another case of getting what you paid for.

 

I know I know, it's tacky to post 'yesterday' pics, but yesterday was just too damn amazing not to. Tired Hands second anniversary.

Paraguesia 1 and 2. Let me just say that the beers were totally awesome, but I seriously do not get the hype with the glasses... Ugly as hell. Oh, and 'Christian Zellerman' lives on the moon 500 years in the future. #themoreyouknow


So It Goes and Negetive Creep. SIG seemed pretty tame compared to the bottle version, way less tart and oaky, still solid tho.

How'd you like the RedThunder?

 

I enjoyed it. I have had the bottle for awhile now but couldn't find a date anywhere on it, but if I had to guess I would say it had at least a year on it. A lot of sweet vanilla and not as boosy as I was expecting. Mouth feel was super smooth and it smelled was awesome. I have another bottle that I put away and plan on holding on to it for awhile see how that one does me.

Holy shit, holy shit, this stuff is insanely good. For the price, I'd pick it up over any of Evil Twin's $16 bombers, including Imperial Biscotti Break. 4.53/5 for me, which makes it my 7th highest rated beer.

 

its says "brewed by evil twin" ....they have a brewery now? lol
