Discovered IPAs and need recommendations

    Hi...I've just recently made the dive into IPAs and love love love them! Can anyone suggest IPAs I can look for? Thanks!

    Good place to start:

    However, from personal experience, I'd recommend:
    Bell's Two Hearted
    Ballast Point Sculpin
    Odell IPA

    You should easily be able to find those in AZ.

    Can't go wrong with any of Bear Republic's Racer series.......Racer 5, Racer X, Cafe Racer 15. Also their Hop Rod Rye is an awesome IPA varient

    Recent ones I tried that were good.

    Betty IPA
    Lumberyard IPA(Flagstaff brewery)
    Deschuttes Fresh Squeezed IPA

    Classics

    Sierra Nevada Torpedo
    Deschuttes Inversion IPA
    along with the others above the other guys mentioned!

    Port Brewing Hop 15
    Sierra Nevada Torpedo
    Hopworks IPA
    Ithaca Flower Power

    (Granted I haven't tried the "big boys" yet, Pliny, Heady, etc., but I'm sure I'd love them, they're so good :stuck_out_tongue:)

    Stone, Stone and try Stone too. They're pretty good.

    Any IPA's by Oskar Blues
    Dogfish head any from 60 min on up
    and one of my favorites, Anderson Valley Hop Ottin' IPA

    Most easy to access are Sculpin and Dirtwolf. Both fantastic. I think DW may be single best value DIPA on market.

    Learn how to find and read bottled on/ enjoy by dates. With IPAS fresh is best.

    With IPAs, you want to make sure they're fresh. Fresh Sculpin, Stone IPA or Blind Pig is enjoyable. Ninety days out is not.

    I think Stone was the first IPA I ever had. I hadn't had it in a while and picked it up the other day and remembered why I liked it so much. I've never heard of Blind Pig, I'll look that one up for sure. Thanks!
