not a bad list but certainly not the best, and like you said it's good to see craft getting some more press

Decent list. Pretty varied in terms of styles/imports as well.

Just realized the pic of the glasses, I got those for Xmas. Sweet..

    Cheers!

One of my favorite hot weather beers, is Black Butte Porter.
You don't like chocolate milkshakes during the summer?

Ask 20 different BA's what there summer list is and I'm sure that each of the twenty will have a better list than this or at least more realistic

For me, it's not summer until I have a SN Summerfest.

What struck me was that nearly all of those were mentioned by BA's on the recent Summertime Beer thread, so it's not really that unreasonable.

I might just question an article that starts....."We like light beer from a can as much as the next guy"
Guess I'm not the next guy

Impressive. I was thinking it was going to beer a Corona and Bud light lime list. Victory Simmer Love for the win!

This. Had Summer Love for the first time at Xfinity live pregaming for the Phillies game. I loved it. I was like wow this is a blonde ale? First one I really remember liking.

C'mon people, this is a really good list. Would I make a different list? Of course. Everybody would make a different list, and none would be the same. But there was nothing on there that made me say WTF.

Also, I just had Victory Summer Love today for the first time. That was really impressive, especially for a Blonde Ale, which I usually don't get that excited about. Actually, Victory has a lot of good summery beers - Summer Love, Prima Pils, Helios, even HopDevil and Golden Monkey work well in the summer.

I guess I am 'cause when thinking of what might be on there a couple of the first ones to pop into my head were OB's Dales Pale Ale and Deviant Dales.

I think its one of the more dead-on accurate lists I've seen. Victory Summer Love is great. I just tried Anderson Valley's Summer Solstice the other day and really liked that one. Oskar Blues Mammas...I think is so/so but ok for summer. Ayinger is great one. I haven't sampled the Saison Dupont yet but it seems to be really well loved on BA. The other couple I can't vouch for as I haven't heard of them.

I'm just glad the article stuck to actual craft beer and didn't include the importers Blue Moon and Shock Top

    Light? No.

Just beers I tend to drink mostly in the warm, sunny weather. And both are in cans.
