what is up with LC4 going for half it's value in MN two years in a row? is that a distributor error or has the cost seriously changed?

Seriously! I only wish it was $8.99-9.99/750ml here. That has to be a pricing error from the distributor I think? It's almost double that here and everywhere else I've seen it. The cheapest Smokestack series beer I've seen is probably Reverb at $11.99. Most are around $12.99-15.99 here.

Daniel at Stinson WBS said yesterday that they should have it today, but didn't get to pop in to confirm.

Lol they are doing it again with selling LC below cost? Brilliant.

The wholesale cost of a bottle of Saison-Brett is $9.60 (here) and LC is a tier up from that.

Sounds like the distributor is treating it like it is Tank 7 or something. It's certainly priced like it.

I love that this thread has been completely hijacked by another and much more affordable sour!

It goes for $18 in Iowa, still less than Pentagram and it's a better sour, I think, that's worth that price. If I saw it at $8/bottle like some of my MN friends have seen, I'd be buying it by the case.

The $8 has to be a pricing mistake and was the same thing last year w/ #3. A few places in the NW burbs last year had #3 priced for $16-18 if memory serves correctly, which seems to be more in line with pricing in other states. Whereas the SLP places had it under $10. Distributor error in our favor, take advantage of it I guess!

8.99 at St. Anthony. They got one case. I bought a bottle, and the wife stopped in and bought me a bottle. Paid $20 last year and thought it was totally worth it.

I think I got the last bottle. And looking across the aisle towards Pentagram which they originally priced at $25.99 but now reduced to $21.99:astonished:.
