    Good Lord, I love Clown Shoes. I don't LOVE this beer (just because I don't LOVE the style), but it sure is tasty.

    Currently watching "Orange is the New Black". I couldn't care less if it's considered a "chick show", it's fucking outstanding.

    Snap edit: I lied. I basically do love this beer, mostly because of its ridiculous balance. Buy it if you find it.

    I personally have a very complicated ritual for summoning the Duvel.

    First, I light a fire using only three-year dried oak as fuel. To ensure a proper aroma, incense is applied to the fire in precise six minute intervals after lighting: jasmine; clove; and beaver musk.

    Accompanying this precise ritual is music: Gregorian chant recorded at 45 RPM, but slowed to 33, with the volume set just below audible range (I prefer my summoning music to be consumed only subliminally).

    Finally, I recite Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven," in reverse (and Pig Latin - doesn't everyone?).

    I tried the summoning first thing in the morning, but all that appeared was a chalice full of coffee. Wonder what that means.

    Wait, is that a whispering voice teasing my ear with honeyed lies? Or the wind playing tricks on a vulnerable mind? What dusk on yonder fireplace breaks?

    Such a beautiful beer, misleadingly bright and unspoiled for a name with so dark a reputation. Then again, one would do well to remember that the Duvel was once the most beautiful of angels before the fall.
