I can't wait to make a mobile out of the empties. They need to release Sun, the destroyer, aka 'BB Expy' in 750's at the general store to make the mobile complete.

    hint hint @LarryBell

Anyone know why Mars and Mercury are switched in terms of the order of the planets? All of the other ones are correctly ordered.

That's just the way the musical piece that this series is based on was composed.

being the Google nerd I am, had to research the lack of Pluto. According to wikipedia:

    Pluto, the Renewer[edit]
Pluto was discovered in 1930, four years before Holst's death, and was hailed by astronomers as the ninth planet. Holst, however, expressed no interest in writing a movement for the new planet. He had become disillusioned by the popularity of the suite, believing that it took too much attention away from his other works.[23]

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Planets

Or Holst somehow knew Pluto would be removed in 2006 from the list of planets in our solar system.

I'm glad the black IPA isn't made with Brett, because I damn sure don't want to get smells of horse blanket out of Uranus.

Honestly, if Saturn was described as "Barrel-Aged Sewer Water" people would still be excited about it.

Tripels don't require three times the malt of a single. The common thinking of the convention is that it simply refers to potency. Thus the single would be the most modest in the lineup. The Rochefort numbers referred to their gravity and end up correlating with increasing potency as well. I think.

It's not often that a beer is marketing as a single, and this Bell's "single" is easily the standout for me in their announcement as a result.

Given that Wisconsin got like four bottles of Black Note total and no Oracle at all, my hopes of seeing these are not high. Guess I'll try to trade for them as they all sound interesting and Holst's Planets is a brilliant piece of music.

They should release them in the order of the planets and have included Earth. I'd be much more geeked out about that, and would keep one of each bottle.

That would make no sense with the theme and structure of the series, though.
