Many thanks to OTB (aka Bud!) for the invite to BW LB last night for an insane bottle share and lots of great people being VERY generous with their ultra-hard-to- get beers. Combine the great BW food, the bottles opened, and the house beers flowing as well, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to be for beer nirvana. And these were mostly wine guys!!

A few of the many highlights (and I'm sure people will be posting pics later) included:
    Lawson's Triple Sunshine IPA
    Pseudo Sue
    Sosus
    Heady Topper
    Surly Coffee bender
    Vietnamese Speedway
    3 Floyd's Permanent Funeral
    Black Ops
    Maine Beer Co Dinner
    New Glarus Raspberry Tart
Growlers of Nelson and the Pupil
    And, oh yeah...... Dark Lord

Mike so glad you and your bride were able to make it ! We did start the night off with some very rare Krug Champagne to segue into the insane beer line up, you forget to mention all the Hill Farmstead Joe brought as well, way to many beers to remember, we do have pics up on our wine board that I can share with you later. Man that Lawsons Triple Sunshine was amazing !

    Cheers,

    Bud

Let us not forget - big thanks to Joe aka ocgasman for setting this up and saving me a trip to VT. The HT, HF, Lawsons Triple Sunshine, MBC, FFF, and TG were all his doing. Massive hops and big thumbs up!

he has a point though, you definitely misuse the term "ultra hard to get." here is something i have to say though, beachwood is a place to go drink hoppy beers. it seems like half of the beer you listed is pales and ipa's. when having shares at a brewery its a little more respectful to bring the beers they generally dont make or have on tap themselves, in beachwoods case BA saison, sours, and things of the like may be a bit more appropriate. just my 2 cents on bottle share etiquette.

Great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Thanks to @thevicster, @bcoyle, @amano_h, @tbonern for the trades to get the out of distro stuff. IPA lineup pic is on the what are you drinking thread.

Can't wait for the next one!

I could start by mentioning some of the attendees relationships with staff of Beachwood, or the previous shares at the location, or the regular patronage, or the beers shared with the staff, but I'll just say that coming in commenting about being "a little more respectful" may not be "appropriate". Let's not overthink these things.

it's just him. I don't think anybody would play with him in the sandbox in kindergarten...it's all manifesting itself in his later years.

Looks like a great time, some tasty beers on that list for sure.

i could second that by saying i too am friends with the staff and owners of the place. and i have been regularly doing bottle shares at both locations for the last 7 years. just because you or your friends know the staff doesn't mean you couldn't be a little more aware of how you patronize a place while having a share..
