Has Anyone Tried Bud Light's Mango-Rita?

Go awesome with Doreets and bratato salad, all the fixings, full spread.

 

The only thing you ever seem to post on this site is dim-witted railings against Dogfish Head and Sam Calagione. If you had ever drank Piercing Pils, you'd know the difference it and the o-ritas.

 

I buy from ALL beer companies if they have a good product,but never really liked tequila derived drinks.I prob would turn this style down.I would give a sip just to see though.

 

I'm sure it's Magnifico.

 

I can tell you this year in our store the Mango is the best seller of all the a-ritas...I think sweeter fruit flavors go better with malt beverages than the citrus flavors...

And never be afraid something you are interested in...

 

It's not as good as last years'.

 

Are these actual margarita mix with tequila or is it bud light flavored with sour mix?

 

I was just going to ask the same thing. If there's actual tequila in it I am even more repulsed. In my opinion, tequila is only good when it's high quality and served neat. To think of a shit quality one mixed with a shit beer and some kind of shit mango chemical extract is enough to send me running in the other direction. No thanks. If I'm trying to get fucked up on the cheap, just give me a bottle of Jim Beam and a sixer of 'Gansett.

 

The only ones I've ever had were the Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita, and I was shotgunning them, yes it was a terrible idea.

 

I find it's best to just pour a mixture of all of them together into a funnel and buttchug a combination of all of them at once.

 

That was my idea, but the security guards in the parking lot I was in weren’t too fond of the idea.

 

I won't drink fruit flavored beers from good breweries so no I have not and I never will.

 

I had a Wachusett canned varierty pack and it had the Blueberry and
Strawberry White and they werent too bad but I probably wouldnt buy them again.

 

Besides being completely different, you're right, it's not different at all.

 

I have and never will sample this one. I'm not judging those who have or even those who like it, but that stuff is just not for me.

 

Malternative is malternative, only difference is the price.

Haven't had that Pils, but their Aprihop tastes like both beer and apricots. Haven't had any of the Bud's other than Lime-a-rita, but in that one I got no trace of Bud/beer flavor.

I'm sure you're right, but you may find that a Margarita with "just" tequila, ice, a little water, simple syrup and citrus fruits (Key limes are crucial!) can be a great drink. The way they're supposed to be made Forget the Triple Sec and Cointreau and you've got a very fruity, tart, but complex drink. So refreshing.

 

Just try it...spend the 6 bucks and drink it...then start a new thread giving us a detailed report about your flavorful journey.

I love mangoes and eat them all the time but it really doesn't sound appealing to me in a beer...that said...drink what you want/like...I do
